Carrot Nutrition

Carrots are of course a rich source of beta-carotene, which your body easily converts into Vitamin A. They also supply lots of alpha-carotene, which has strong anti-cancer effects.

Carrots are high in pectin, a form of solubile fiber which binds toxins, bile acids, hormones and heavy metals and carries them out of your body.
